On December 1, 2024, the journal Optics & Photonics News, affiliated with the International Society for Optics and Photonics (OPTICA), reviewed the important progress in the international optical field during the year. Based on the significance (breakthrough) and broad interest of the research results, it released 30 representative highlight works ("Optics in 2024"). The "high-brightness, narrow-linewidth chip-integrated quantum light source" by the team of Liu Junqiu from the Shenzhen International Quantum Academy was selected as a representative achievement in the field of integrated optical quantum.
