To thoroughly implement the theme of the 2025 National Fire Prevention Publicity Month, "Fire Safety for All, Life First – Safe Use of Fire and Electricity", solidly advance the deployment of year-end safety work, and comprehensively enhance teachers' and students' awareness of fire safety and emergency response capabilities, IQASZ successfully held a fire emergency drill on the afternoon of November 28. This event was co-hosted by the Safety Office and Logistics Office of the Institute, together with the park property management. Through conducting practical emergency drills and on-site teaching, it effectively tested the scientificity and operability of the emergency response plan, further consolidating the foundation of fire safety management for the entire institute.
At the drill site, a scenario of a sudden fire was simulated. After the unified order was issued, the participants quickly activated the emergency response plan and carried out evacuation and escape actions in an orderly manner to ensure that everyone could evacuate safely and quickly to the designated area. At the same time, the volunteer fire brigade carried out initial fire fighting operations simultaneously, operated fire-fighting facilities in coordination, and efficiently completed fire control. The entire process was closely connected, with timely responses and standardized handling, fully demonstrating good emergency organization capabilities and collaboration levels.
During the practical training session, fire officers explained and demonstrated on-site the usage methods of commonly used fire-fighting equipment such as dry powder fire extinguishers, fire blankets, carbon dioxide fire extinguishers, and fire breathing apparatus. They organized the participants to conduct practical operation experiences, ensuring that the trainees could truly "understand, learn, and apply" the knowledge. This effectively improved the practical capabilities and emergency awareness of teachers, students, and campus property management personnel.
