On the morning of September 12, a delegation from the Semiconductor Branch of Peking University Alumni Association visited Shenzhen International Quantum Academy (IQASZ) for exchange. A number of Peking University alumni with profound influence in the fields of semiconductors and quantum technology gathered together to discuss cutting-edge technologies and industrial applications.

At the beginning of the event, the Peking University alumni visited the exhibition hall and core experimental platforms of IQASZ under the guidance of Dong Yuanhao, gaining an in-depth understanding of the basic development context of quantum technology and the construction progress of IQASZ.

Subsequently, Academician Yu Dapeng, President of IQASZ, delivered a welcome speech to the guests present, and systematically introduced the construction background, development history and representative scientific research achievements of IQASZ in the past five years. He stated that the quantum information industry has broad and enormous market prospects, and expected to take this exchange opportunity to jointly discuss with the outstanding figures in the semiconductor industry and investment sector present how to seize opportunities and explore the industrialization path of quantum technology achievements.

Three representatives of Peking University alumni in the semiconductor industry, namely Ding Tianyang, Chairman of Pengtai Memory Technology (Nanjing) Co., Ltd., Hu Xiaodong, Chairman of Beijing Juxin Technology Co., Ltd., and Zhang Zhikuan, General Manager of Shenzhen Pulang Innovation Technology Co., Ltd., shared their respective industrialization achievements and experience in the fields of memory, optical chips and quantum dots.

Researchers He Yu, Liu Junqiu and Zhang Zhensheng from IQASZ respectively introduced the basic situation, research progress and incubation achievements of IQASZ in the directions of quantum computing, ultra-low loss silicon nitride integrated optics and quantum engineering applications.

At the end of the event, a roundtable dialogue themed "Quantum and Industry" was held. Moderated by Li Shunfeng, Executive Dean of Suzhou Semiconductor Laser Innovation Research Institute, the dialogue invited Chen Xi, General Manager of Shenzhen Zhucheng Investment Co., Ltd., Du Jun, Deputy General Manager of Cenke Technology (Shenzhen) Group Co., Ltd., Zhu Yanwu, Vice President of IQASZ, and Researcher Liu Junqiu to express their opinions on topics such as the development prospects, investment opportunities and industrial chain collaboration of the quantum computing industry, providing the guests present with diverse perspectives and forward-looking insights on the development and achievement transformation of quantum technology.

Vice President Bai Zhiqiang delivered a concluding speech. He extended sincere welcome and gratitude to the Peking University alumni present.
