On the afternoon of February 10, the Shenzhen-Hong Kong Quantum Technology Industry Forum and the unveiling ceremony of the Shenzhen-Hong Kong Quantum Technology Industry Innovation Center (preparatory) were successfully held in the Shenzhen Park of the Hetao Shenzhen-Hong Kong Science and Technology Innovation Cooperation Zone. This event was hosted by the Shenzhen International Quantum Academy, co-organized by the Hong Kong Productivity Council, and undertaken by Shenzhen Shenzhen-Hong Kong Science and Technology Innovation Cooperation Zone Development Co., Ltd. Responsible comrades from the Guangdong Provincial Department of Science and Technology, the People's Government of Futian District, Shenzhen, the Hetao Shenzhen-Hong Kong Science and Technology Innovation Cooperation Zone Development Office, and relevant departments from both Shenzhen and Hong Kong attended the event. Representatives from scientific research institutions, universities, leading enterprises, financial institutions, and industrial ecological partners from both Shenzhen and Hong Kong gathered together to witness the official unveiling of the Shenzhen-Hong Kong Quantum Technology Industry Innovation Center (preparatory) and the Shenzhen-Hong Kong Quantum Technology Joint Laboratory, and conducted in-depth exchanges and discussions on collaborative innovation in quantum technology, paths for achievement transformation and industrialization, and exploration of scenario applications.

The successful holding of this event marks that the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area is accelerating its leap from "advantages in basic research" to "industrial collaboration capabilities" in the field of quantum technology, taking a crucial and milestone step. It is also an important practice for Shenzhen and Hong Kong to join hands in implementing the national innovation strategy and co-building the international science and technology innovation center of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area, injecting bay area momentum into the development of China's future quantum technology industry.
